Mel C si pronuncia sulla nuovissima canzone delle GEM Song For Her: “E’ una canzone davvero accattivante, in particolare quel coro di voci, ed è davvero bello sentirle di nuovo. Credo che, anche dopo 20 anni, le nostre voci sono così familiari che è sempre bello risentirle”. Dopo l’aver approvato a pieni voti il lavoro delle sue ex bandmates, Mel C lascia aperta la possibilità di una possibile sua partecipazione ad un eventuale tour delle GEM: “Se le ragazze tornassero sul palco sicuramente andrei a vederle. E, probabilmente, salterei le transenne e mi metterei a cantare con loro sul palco!”. Però, alle domande di alcuni fan che hanno insistentemente chiesto che le GEM si esibissero al prossimo Eurovision Song Contest in rappresentanza dell’Inghilterra, Mel risponde in modo molto ironico: “Qui nel Regno Unito noi siamo un po’ snobbiste nei confronti dell’Eurovision, quindi non credo proprio che le ragazza parteciperebbero”.
